Dream Creations Event Planning was founded by owner and lead planner + designer, Jaclyn Pheasant. Jaclyn received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management from Waynesburg University. Upon graduation, she pursued a successful career working in various Human Resource capacities for 11 years. She also obtained a wedding planner certification through coursework at WVU and then later received her design certification. It was in 2016 with lifestyle changes and revisiting where she saw herself; she realized she was ready to take a leap and leave her day job. This is how Dream Creations was born.

Jaclyn has been planning and coordinating weddings in southwestern PA, Morgantown, WV, Fairmont, WV, and beyond in WV, along with the Oakland and Deep Creek, MD areas. Over almost the last decade, the business has continued to thrive and grow, which also means so does the team that works alongside her.

Now, the “9” years in business has not always been smooth. Owning and operating a business comes with many up’s and down’s, challenges, long hours, working 24/7, smiles, laughs, sweat, tears, and to top it off, throw in a world wide pandemic in 2020. No matter the obstacle, Jaclyn and her team handle it head on, leaving the couple, their family and friends to be able to make memories and enjoy the special day!
